Race days, finals, concerts and the Grand Prix are when rideshare is at its most expensive and least reliable. Everyone wants a car at the same moment, and the price moves accordingly.
Here it does not. There is no event pricing - the Grand Prix, the Australian Open, Cox Plate, Derby Day and Oaks Day are all charged at the normal published price.
Melbourne Cup Day is the one exception, and only because it is a Victorian public holiday, when a published 10% rate applies.
