Type your suburb or postcode and I'll show you the fixed price — South East Melbourne home turf, and Melbourne-wide on request.
South East Melbourne is home turf — fastest response, most availability. Metro Melbourne (bayside, inner city, near-airport) is available by request; book a little ahead where you can.
The Peninsula, Phillip Island, Geelong and Gippsland are normal runs, not special trips. Long distances are exactly where a meter and a surge multiplier hurt most, so the price is agreed before you book and it does not move. One driver the whole way. No transfers, no changes, no waiting at a connection.
On Victorian public holidays a 10% rate applies. That is the only time the price changes.
There is no event pricing. The Grand Prix, the Australian Open, Cox Plate, Derby Day and Oaks Day are all charged at the normal published price - the days everyone else charges more for are ordinary days here.
Melbourne Cup Day is the exception, and only because it is itself a public holiday.
How it works out: a $180 fare on a public holiday is $198, less the $10 off, so $188. On any other day it is $170.
The rate is published, it is the same for everyone, and you see it on your quote before you book. It is not surge: it does not change by the minute and it is not decided by an app while you are standing at the kerb.
It does not stack with the short-notice fee. If both would apply, you are charged the higher of the two, never both.
