Your driver. By the hour, or the day.

Not a fleet, not an app — a personal driver, in his own car, on your schedule. Errands, meetings, multi-stop days, or a standing weekly booking — what the industry calls "as directed" hire, done personally. Same person every time, the way it should be.

Rates

Priced like a personal driver, not a chauffeur fleet.

Melbourne chauffeur companies with fleet vehicles run $150–320/hour. A personal driver in their own car — which is what this is — sits at $50–100/hour. This is priced honestly within that range, not padded to look like something it isn't.

Hourly
$75$65/hr
2 hour minimum. Errands, appointments, a few stops around town — pay for the time, go wherever you need.
Full-day
$520$510
8 hours, effectively $63.75/hr. Full business days, events, or anything that needs a driver on call all day.
What it's for

Corporate accounts

If your office books cars regularly, the rate is $60 an hour and there is nothing to sign. No account to open, no minimum, no contract.

Most firms start with a single airport run and judge it from there. What they are usually buying is not the car - it is knowing which person is turning up, and that the price was agreed before the trip rather than calculated after it.

Airport transfers at the published zone price, or half and full days on call when a client is in town.

Good to know

The details that actually matter.

Minimum booking

2 hours minimum on hourly bookings. If your trip is a single fixed A-to-B run, airport transfers or a quick point-to-point may work out cheaper — check the fixed-price option first.

Overtime

Running past your booked time? No drama — extra time is simply billed at the same hourly rate in 30-minute increments, confirmed with you as it happens.

Secure prepayment

Your fare is confirmed by text or email, then a secure payment link is sent. Hourly, half-day and full-day bookings are locked in once paid in full. Multi-day private hire (2+ days) can be secured with a 20% deposit, with the balance due 2 weeks before your booking. No cash handled in the car, same safety approach as rideshare. Tax invoices provided for business travel – just ask.

Vehicle & luggage

2024 Haval H6 Ultra — 600L boot (1485L seats folded). No car seat currently carried; happy to take families travelling with their own. Seats up to 4 — for bigger groups we can arrange a second vehicle, just mention your group size when you message us.

Working with Children Check

Accredited, for families booking school runs, activities, or days out. One driver you and your kids get to know, not a different face every time.

Easy cancellation

Hourly, half-day and full-day bookings: free cancellation up to 24 hours before, fully refunded — just text, no forms. Multi-day private hire: free cancellation and full refund up to 7 days before your booking; inside 7 days the deposit is non-refundable but no further charge applies.

Booking notice

Standard pricing applies with 48+ hours' notice. Bookings inside 48 hours may include a $10 short-notice fee.

Public holidays

On Victorian public holidays a published 10% rate applies — that is the only time the price changes. There is no event pricing: race days, the Grand Prix and the Australian Open are charged at the normal published price. It never stacks with the short-notice fee — you are charged the higher of the two. See event transfers.

Tell me what you need — I'll confirm by text or email.

No bots, no fleet dispatch. I'll reply within a few hours to confirm, or suggest an alternative if that slot's taken.

Nothing is booked until I reply, confirm your fare, and payment is received. I'll get back to you by text or email, whichever suits — just tell me in the notes if you're overseas.
